A sudden increase in your water bill can be a sign of a hidden water leak. Leaks can often occur on underground pipes and may not always be obvious. We carry out leak detection onsite to help locate the source of the problem and complete the required repairs. Once the leak has been repaired, only a licensed plumber can provide the relevant documentation to assist you with applying for a Water Corporation leak allowance, where applicable.
Water coming from the bottom of your hot water unit can indicate a problem with the tank, valves, connections or other components. If you notice water pooling around your hot water system, it’s best to have it inspected promptly to prevent further damage. WASP Plumbing can diagnose the issue and provide a repair or replacement solution where required.
If your hot water has stopped working, there can be several possible causes depending on your hot water system, including an electrical fault, gas, heating or component fault. WASP Plumbing can diagnose the problem and provide the necessary repair or replacement. If you have no hot water and need urgent assistance, our emergency plumbing service is available 24 hours.
If you smell gas or suspect a gas leak, don't ignore it. Turn off the gas supply if it is safe to do so, avoid using electrical switches or flames, and contact WASP Plumbing as soon as possible.
